A: 4'x4' signs are made out of many different substrates, or materials, but if you’re looking for the most lightweight, durable, and long-lasting material available, corrugated polypropylene, (corrugated plastic), is the way to go! Fortunately, we offer all of our signs in corrugated plastic.

This fluted plastic material is both strong and durable, yet lightweight enough for easy installation in the ground or for hanging. It's similar to cardboard in design but built to withstand weather conditions, and available in two thickness options: 4mm (approximately ¼") and 10mm (approximately ½").

Our signs are printed with ink that resists fading from UV exposure, guaranteed to maintain vibrant colors for at least 2 years in direct sunlight.

1. Upload Your Artwork:
Simply use the “Upload Artwork” button on our order form to upload your logos or any artwork you have. Just click the button, browse your computer or mobile device, and select the file you want to upload. We accept PDF, EPS, AI, and TIF files. You can also upload low-resolution JPEG or PNG files. If our designers find that the resolution isn't high enough to ensure a sharp print, they’ll reach out to assist you in improving it. You’ll also be able to choose your preferred colors and add any additional text you'd like in the “Sign Message” box above.
2. EZ Design Tool:
Create your sign from scratch with our easy-to-use design tool! You can upload your logos, select colors, and add artwork, or choose from one of our many templates and personalize it to match your unique branding style.

Sign Care
Our signs are built to endure the elements and last for years, but life happens! Birds might leave a mess, dogs might leave a mark, or a passing car might splash mud. If your sign gets dirty, here’s how to clean it and keep it looking like new while preserving the integrity of the print:
• Washing Your Sign: Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge (not a scrubby one). This is just like washing your car, and it’ll prevent scratches.
• Spot Cleaning: Windex works great for spot cleaning without harming the print.
• Hosing Off: Feel free to rinse your sign with water! Remember, since our signs are made of durable corrugated plastic, they're rust-resistant.
• Drying Your Sign: Let it air dry in the sun or gently wipe it down with a soft towel or paper towel.
What to Avoid: While mild soap and Windex are perfect for cleaning, stay away from harsh chemicals like alcohol or any cleaners with bleach. These can fade the ink, damage the vinyl backing, and even weaken the adhesive or the sign material itself. Avoid using cleaners like Clorox, Scrubbing Bubbles, mildew remover, Comet, Soft Scrub, or Lysol. If it’s too harsh for your car, it’s too harsh for your sign!
How to Install
For signs of this size In 10mm thickness, we offer four display options—our “Post Kits.”
PVC Standard Post Kit:
This kit holds one sign, either single- or double-sided, and installs directly into the ground. It includes two 8-foot tall posts, horizontal tracks to slide and secure the sign, flat plastic post caps, and all necessary screws for installation. We recommend to install this kit at least 24" into the ground, so the whole kit stands about 6' high.
Arrow Post Kit:
Similar in design to the Standard Kit, the Arrow Post Kit holds two single-sided signs in a V-shape using three 8-foot vertical posts. It also installs directly into the ground and comes with two sets of tracks, flat post caps, and all required hardware.
Self-Standing Post Kit:
This kit is assembled as a flat-based, freestanding display—ideal for hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete. It includes posts, tracks, flat caps, and screws - everything you need to install! Sandbags are also included for extra security.
Metal Post Kit:
Our Metal Post Kit can be installed without any tools at all! This Post Kit comes with a set of four metal poles, two of which are installed into the ground using our installation tool (included), and two of which are installed between the sign faces through the use of our patented Post Pocket technology. You can easily install the whole thing in 5 minutes.
If you’d like to hang your sign or attach it with zip ties, you can request holes (for 10mm signs) or brass-plated grommets (for 4mm signs). For a more permanent installation, you can also drill directly through the corrugated plastic to secure it to a wall using screws.
