At 1-800-The-Sign, designing your custom 18"x24" aluminum sign is simple. We offer three easy ways to get started:

1. Upload Your Own Artwork

Already have a design or logo? Just click the “Upload Artwork” button on our order form to send us your files. You can upload from your computer or mobile device—we accept PDF, EPS, AI, and TIF files. Have a JPEG or PNG instead? That’s fine too! If our design team notices any resolution issues, we’ll reach out to help improve the quality. You’ll also be able to select your sign colors and enter your message in the “Sign Message” box on the same page.

2. Use Our EZ Design Tool

Prefer to create it yourself? Our user-friendly EZ Design Tool lets you build your sign step by step. Start with a blank canvas or customize one of our professionally designed templates. Add your logo, brand colors, and messaging to make it your own.

Sign Care

Our signs are built to handle the outdoors, but if they get dirty, here’s how to clean them without compromising their quality:

• Washing

Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge (avoid abrasive pads) to gently clean the surface. This helps prevent scratches and keeps your sign looking sharp.

• Spot Cleaning

For quick touch-ups, Windex works well and won’t harm the print.

• Hosing Off

Feel free to rinse your sign with a garden hose!

• Drying

You can either air dry your sign in the sun or wipe it gently with a soft towel or paper towel.

• What to Avoid

Stick with mild soap or Windex. Avoid harsh chemicals like alcohol or bleach-based cleaners, which can damage the print and vinyl over time. Do not use products such as Clorox, Scrubbing Bubbles, mildew removers, Comet, Soft Scrub, or Lysol. Rule of thumb: If it’s too harsh for your car’s paint, it’s too harsh for your sign.

How to Install

We offer two different ground installation methods for your 18”x24” sign:

1. Slide in Frame

• A metal push-in-ground frame that allows aluminum panels to easily slide in from the top, or can be bolted in! Solid ¾” angle iron with pre-punches mounting slots. Pointed legs make it easy to push into the ground. Includes a 6” rider section below the main panel.

2. Yard Arm Post

• Also known as a colonial or swing post, this classic sign holder is ideal for residential realtors promoting a home for sale or rent. Standing 5 feet (60 inches) tall, the Yard Arm Post requires no tools for setup and installs in just minutes.

Don’t forget—you can request holes if you’d like to hang your sign or secure it with zip ties.
