About 6"x24" Riders

Sign riders are small, secondary signs that “ride” above or below your primary signage. They're perfect for displaying additional or changing information like dates, times, directions, or status updates such as “Sold,” “For Sale,” “Under Contract,” or “For Lease.” Riders can also include arrows to help direct traffic. Since they’re designed to be interchangeable, you can keep your main commercial sign intact and simply swap out riders as needed to display fresh information—saving time and money.

FAQ's

"What sizes do sign riders come in?"
The most common rider sizes are 6”x24” and 12”x43”.
"How do I match rider sizes with my main sign?"
As a rule of thumb, your rider should be smaller (or at most, equal) in width to your main sign. For large signs like 4’x8’ (48”x96”), go with a 12”x43” rider. A 6”x24” would look too small. For medium signs such as 32”x48” or 24”x48”, the 6”x24” size is a perfect fit. For smaller signs like 18”x24”, 32”x24”, or 24”x24”, using a 6”x24” rider is ideal. This size combo is especially popular among residential realtors.
"Who uses sign riders?"
Sign riders are widely used across various industries, including real estate (both residential and commercial) and retail businesses! You can place riders on yard signs with messages like “Open Now” or “Coming Soon”. You can also use sign riders for events and promotions – direct customers with arrow riders or highlight time-sensitive details!
"Are riders better than decals?"
Yes. Many professionals prefer riders over decals for a cleaner, more professional look. Decals can cover up valuable information and often leave behind sticky residue when removed. Riders, on the other hand, are reusable, easier to update, and don’t damage the main sign—ultimately offering better value over time.

Sign Care

Keep your sign looking its best with these cleaning tips:
• General Cleaning: Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge.
• Spot Cleaning: Windex is safe and effective for most stains.
• Rinsing: A garden hose works great—our plastic signs won’t rust.
• Drying: Let it air dry or use a soft towel.
Avoid: Harsh chemicals such as bleach, alcohol, or strong cleaners (e.g., Clorox, Comet, Soft Scrub, Scrubbing Bubbles, Lysol). These can damage the print, vinyl, or substrate.

How to Install

Several installation methods are available:
• Top H Rider Holder
Fits into the corrugation on top of your main sign and rider (only for vertical flutes). Note: Not compatible with 4x4 signs unless they’re scored horizontally.
• Rider Clamps
Attach to the top of PVC or Yard Arm posts using included VHB Tape.
Additional Mounting Options:
• Request pre-drilled holes (for 10mm signs)
• Ask for brass-plated grommets (for 4mm signs)
• Mount directly to a wall using screws through the plastic
